Закон расщепления, з.р. гибридов второго поколения, второй з. Менделя — закон, постулирующий, что во втором поколении гибридов статистическое соотношение особей с доминантными и рецессивными признаками составляет 3:1, если признак одного из родителей полностью доминирует над признаком др. родителя, т. е. 3(AAbb+Aabb) : 1(aabb) или 75 и 25% особей соответственно. При промежуточном наследовании расщепление особей на фенотипические классы совпадает с расщеплением по генотипу, т. е. 1(AAbb) : 2(AAbb): 1(aabb), или по 25% особей с каждым из родительских фенотипов и 50% — с промежуточным, т. е. фенотипом F1 гибридного поколения.
